Everyone agrees that the 1st Pan Dental Society Conference in 2007 was a resounding success. Therefore the four societies decided that 2011 would be a good year to hold the 2nd Pan Dental Society Conference.

The venue this time will be Liverpool and the date for your diaries is 11–12th November 2011. The four societies have put together an exciting programme including our Keynote speaker Professor Keith Porter who will talk about his involvement with the care of our wounded soldiers arriving back from Afghanistan.

We hope very much that those who were present the first time will take the opportunity to again meet up and that this year's topics will attract new delegates. This coming together of the four societies allows us to broaden our horizons and provide networking with other disciplines. The conference will also offer the opportunity to discuss new developments in technology and professional life and will be of importance to all in the dental profession, consequently we expect a large number of delegates to attend from outside the four societies.

Therefore I encourage you to put the date in your diary and advertise it widely to your friends and colleagues in dentistry.
